Rhino Protection is known for the high quality and durability of its leather products. Whether made from full-grain or split leather – our top-quality PPE offers optimum protection for welders. Thanks to carefully chosen materials, our PPE is suitable for small welding shops as well as heavy-duty applications. PPE from Rhino Protection protects against protection class 2 hazards. It is therefore suitable for very hazardous welding applications that include manual welding where spatter or droplets of molten metal might be formed, as is the case with MAG welding, arc welding and plasma cutting. The PPE also meets the requirements for welding in enclosed spaces, welding and cutting above head height and work in forced positions. Rhino Protection further provides effective protection against UV radiation during arc welding.

Top quality offers maximum protection. Rhino Protection clothing for use in welding limits the spread of flames on the surface and is resistant to sparks. When hot, it does not melt, and spatter or glowing metal parts burn or glow for no longer than 2 seconds when touching the surface. Our protective clothing therefore meets all the requirements of EN 15025 class A1. Rhino Protection welding gloves conform to EN 12477 and provide optimum protection during TIG and MIG/MAG welding.
PPE from Rhino Protection outperforms protective clothing made from conventional Proban fabric. The high-quality leather offers protection against class 2 hazards such as radiated heat, small spatter and molten metal. In contrast, clothing made from Proban fabric only protects against class 1 hazards. Our leather clothing is also much more resistant against electric voltage and tearing. As we want to make sure that our customers are properly protected, all our protective clothing for welders is made from top-quality leather. As there is no difference in performance between full-grain and split leather, you can choose what you like best. Our PPE is of course available in various sizes, models and cuts.
